and his cousin Summer (Kilvroch Summer Song) won Junior Bitch

Ellie is in whelp!

This evening, we visited the canine ultrasound clinic, where we saw six wee babes! If all goes well, the puppies are due to be born about 7 December 2010.
Let us think loving, healthy happy thoughts for Ellie and her future pups.

Litter planned for December 2010

Ellie (AM CH KILVROCH SILK STOCKINGS) will be bred to Basil (JOSETER DOWNUNDER AT PAXWOLD) in the next couple of weeks, with puppies hoped for in December.

Kilvroch Andre's first show

Today Kilvroch Andre (aka "Seamie") and owner Biddy Belcher made their show début at Midland Welsh Corgi Club's Open Show.
They had a very good day, winning both their classes: 1st in Junior Dog or Bitch &
1st in Novice Dog or Bitch.

I am especially happy because they only started training for the show ring two weeks ago!

Also present were sister Kilvroch Venus (3rd puppy bitch) and brother Kilvroch Murray Jagofpeeko (3rd puppy dog), and neice Kilvroch Electra of Rubegud (3rd Post Graduate Bitch)

Kilvroch Cara wins at Luxembourg International Show

Congratulations to Karen Bechmann and Kilvroch Cara on winning the CACL, CACIB and BOB at Luxembourg International Show on 28 March 2010.
Cara is by Kilvroch Rackett (Fang) out of Kilvroch Tamina (Buttercup)

Karen's day was doubly nice, as her handsome black and white boy, Orazio, won the dog CACL, CACIB, BOS and finished his Luxembourg Championship Title!

1st championship show of the year

I was disappointed with the Cardigan judging of Mrs Valerie Hutton from Australia (Bojojamile Pembrokes). She barely looked at the cardigans shown to her.It was almost insulting the lack of time spent on the dogs, and the excuses she made when placing some of the exhibits above others.

I did not disagree with her choice of main winners, and was thrilled for Sarah Taylor and her bitch when they went on to win a Group 1 under Albert Wight.
